Marks Of Man
THIS SERIES IS A TESTAMENT TO THE POWER OF CREATIVE RECONTEXTUALIZATION.
By composing carefully curated objects into self-supporting sculptures, photographing them, and manipulating those photos into motion graphics, these works give new life to items that might have otherwise ended up forgotten or in a landfill.
Process
Creating the sculptures involves lots of patience. As well as an eye for, and sense of, spacial composition, and balance. I find the process very similarly therapeutic to that of balancing rocks.
Motion Experiments
My favorite creations from this series has to be the experimental motion graphics. After bringing the photos into a digital space and manipulating them I was able to create these unique radial patterns, to which I then brought to life with the subtle rotation of the axis'.
