World Water Day Poster
Challenge
For this project, we were given five words to which we had to design icons that corresponded with them. Additionally, we had to take one of our final icons and create a poster out of it.
Process
A large number of thumbnails were created for this project to help with the ideation process, however, they most certainly came in handy towards the later stages of this project, as well as for the development of other projects.
Solution
Using the strongest icon, I looked at ways to create a poster campaign creating awareness around an issue relevant to the chosen icon. Being that the word was "drain" the topic of water scarcity became the focus of the posters. The final solution was a poster for the United Nations World Water Day. In two different colour combinations.
