During the summer of 2023, I was hired as a summer programs assistant at KWAG on a full-time contract through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. The position was imperative in my professional development. I helped with the supervision of summer art camps for kids aged 6-12, facilitated a public art program called Art in the Park, and created poster and post designs for various programs and events. One of which included the KWAG Youth Council which I now coordinate Part-time.

After designing the posters for the KWAG YC, I thought it would be cool to get involved with the program after my summer position ended there. So I let them know I'd be interested in coordinating or helping with the program and they hired me to be the galleries Youth Council Coordinator.
