Brody Exhibition Poster
Challenge
For this project, I designed a series of posters for a fictitious exhibition for designer Neville Brody and the Museum Of Modern Art. The final compositions effectively meet the brief while simultaneously bending it slightly for more creative flexibility.
Process
We were required to represent our chosen designer utilizing strictly typography. To do this, I overlaid individual letterforms to digitally illustrate a portrait of Brody using many Brody typefaces.
Solution
The final designs were two blue-white, and black posters with very subtle differences in layout and composition. Both posters are framed around the typographic illustration created of Neville Brody by overlaying dozens upon dozens of individual letterforms. Only Brody typefaces and typefaces inspired by his style were used in the poster, to stay true to representing him. The posters work effectively in light or dark mode.
